HVAC Google Ads agency · for companies selling full system replacement

The HVAC Google Ads Agency that fills the install calendar

Great cost per lead, empty install calendar. In 15 minutes we show you what a booked changeout actually costs you, and which campaign is eating the replacement budget.

  • What a booked install costs you, by campaign, not a blended lead price
  • The searches taking your budget before the replacement buyers ever see you
  • A 90-day fix your team can start on Monday

Your ad account does not know these are two different businesses

Blended cost per lead means nothing on its own.

Blended Google Ads cost per lead for HVAC and plumbing contractors averaged $104 in January 2026 across 816 contractors and $14.9M in spend (SearchLight). That number hides everything that decides your year.

A $89 tune-up and a $12,000 changeout both count as one lead. The tune-up is far cheaper to produce, so the account learns to buy tune-ups, reports a healthy cost per lead, and quietly starves the replacement work that actually pays for your install crews.

Then the shoulder season arrives, the number still looks fine, and you switch spend off because you cannot defend it. The following summer you start again from a standing start.

A full tune-up board and an empty install calendar is the most common shape we open.

The Leak Finder

Fifteen minutes, free, and nothing to buy on the call. We open your Google Ads account with you watching, name the single biggest leak between your clicks and your booked jobs, and put a number on what it is costing you every month. What we find is yours either way.

We only run a handful of these a week, and not every account is worth one. Answer a few quick questions and if it is a fit, we will book you in.

Between the click and a booked install

Four leaks in an HVAC account.

Leak ICapture

Tune-ups eating the replacement budget

Your ads promote a cheap tune-up because it converts well, and your reporting looks great. Meanwhile the replacement searches, the expensive ones with real intent, never get seen because the budget was gone by lunchtime.

The same account is usually paying for "HVAC technician jobs" and "how to recharge AC yourself". Techs looking for work and homeowners who will fix it themselves, billed at the same rate as your best buyer.

Techs and DIYers, billed at the same rate as your best buyer.

Leak IISpeed to lead

The heatwave you cannot answer

First real heatwave. Every line lit. Two techs off sick. A homeowner with no cooling and a baby in the house is not filling in a second form.

Call a web lead within 5 minutes and the odds of qualifying them are 21 times higher than at 30 minutes (Lead Response Management study). In a 2021 secret-shopper audit of 466 US home-services companies, 95% did not respond within five minutes and 40% never responded at all.

Peak demand and zero spare hands arrive on the same day, every year.

Leak IIIShow and close

The $18,000 quote nobody chases

Your comfort advisor presents good, better, best. The homeowner says he needs to talk to his wife. Then the quote sits. No call on day two. No monthly payment ever put in front of him.

Financing is what makes a $19,000 system feel survivable, and it lifts close rates, yet plenty of quotes go out with nothing but a total on the last page. So he takes the $2,400 patch and calls you again next summer.

You paid to acquire that job. You just did not finish it.

Leak IVControl panel

You cannot see cost per booked install

You know last summer was good. You cannot say what a booked replacement cost you, which campaign produced it, or how that compares to a service call.

So in November, when revenue drops and your bookkeeper is watching the line of credit, marketing gets switched off, because nobody can defend a number nobody can see. Then March arrives and the pipeline is empty.

March arrives, the pipeline is empty, and it takes six weeks to rebuild.

Sixty seconds, no form

How many of these cost you an install last season?

Tick anything you recognise from the last three months. Nobody sees this but you.

Two or more is not bad luck. It is a leak, and it has a number attached. The Leak Finder tells you which one is costing you the most, and what it adds up to over a year.

What actually happens

Fifteen minutes, before the season turns.

No deck, no discovery call, no three-stage process. We open the account and look.

  1. A few quick questionsTwo minutes, so we know your trade, your spend and your service area before we start. Contact details come last.
  2. We open your account, live, with you on the callNot a report we email later. You watch us go through it, and you can stop us and ask anything.
  3. We name the biggest leak and price itWhat a booked changeout is costing you versus a tune-up, by campaign, and what it is costing you in quoted work every month.
  4. The findings are yours to keepNo strings, whether you hire us or not. Take them to your current agency if you like.

Why we do it free

Roughly one in five turns into a client. We would rather find out in fifteen minutes than after three months of your money, and so would you.

What it is not

No pitch deck. No proposal. No pricing conversation unless you ask for one.

Something worth keeping.

If we cannot find at least one meaningful leak in your account, we will say so on the call and point you to a better next step.

What you have had beforeWhat we do instead
A report full of impressions, clicks and "average position".One number that matters: what a booked job costs you, by campaign.
One campaign called "services" doing everything.Spend split by job value, so cheap work can never outbid your best work.
Leads emailed to you, then it is your problem.Every lead called in minutes, day or night, by a cadence that runs without you.
Quotes go out and nobody hears anything again.Structured follow-up for as long as the decision actually takes.
A 12-month contract and your ad account in their name.Simple 28-day cycles. You own the ad account, the site and the data.
An account manager you have never met, rotating every quarter.A senior strategist who has seen your trade, on the phone.

What changes if you hire us

Google Ads in. Booked installs out.

Google Ads management, a CRM, a sales process and sales automation. One system, four parts, click to signed contract.

i · Capture

Replacement and service split into separate campaigns with separate budgets, so a tune-up can never outbid a changeout. Quote pages that lead with the monthly payment, not just the total.

ii · Speed to lead

Every call and form answered in minutes, including on the day your whole team is on roofs and in ceilings.

iii · Show and close

Confirmations that cut no-shows on in-home visits, and follow-up after the quote so a "let me talk to my wife" does not become a competitor's install.

iv · Control panel

Cost per booked install and cost per booked service call, by campaign, so you can defend the spend in November instead of canceling it.

The 3× Pipeline Promise

Within 90 days of going live, we’ll create at least 3× what you invest with Clique in new, tracked qualified quote requests from Google Ads.

If we don’t, our management invoices drop to $0 and we keep working until we hit it.

This is a service-level performance promise, not an income or revenue guarantee. It is measured on qualified quote requests created and logged, not on closed revenue or anything that happens on your side of the sale. “What you invest with Clique” means what you pay us in Build and Management fees, not your ad spend. The 90-day window starts on your System Launch Date, when the system is live, tracking and call recording are verified and the agreed minimum ad spend is in place. It applies to Core and Boardroom engagements. Read the full promise.

Who we let in the clique

We fill install calendars, not tune-up boards.

I This is a fit if you…

  • Sell full system replacement, not just service and repair.
  • Have comfort advisors running in-home quotes and want their calendar full.
  • Can install the extra work in the next 90 days without your crews falling over.
  • Offer financing, or are ready to.

II This is NOT a fit if you…

  • Switch ads off every October and expect a full pipeline in March.
  • Want cheap tune-up leads instead of replacement jobs.
  • Cannot staff another install crew, because the real constraint is hiring.
  • Want a guarantee of revenue. We do not sell one.

Before you book

What HVAC owners ask us first.

I got burned by an agency before. Reports full of clicks, no jobs, and an account manager I never met.

That is the most common sentence we hear. Two things change here. A senior strategist stays on your account rather than a rotating junior, and every report is booked jobs and dollars, not impressions. If the reporting ever drifts back to clicks, fire us.

I have bought leads before. Angi, HomeAdvisor, the rest. Never again.

Understood, and this is not that. Shared leads are sold to three or four of you at once, which is why they price-shop and why your close rate sits where it does. What we build is your own demand: your account, your number, your brand, nobody else on the other end of it. If you want to keep buying shared leads alongside it that is your call, but you will see the difference in cost per booked install inside a season.

The real problem is I cannot hire installers. More leads will not fix that.

Then you should not buy more leads, and we would say so on the call. When labour is the constraint the job is not volume, it is mix: fewer tune-ups clogging the schedule, more replacement work per truck roll, and a higher average ticket on the crews you already have. Several operators we run are deliberately doing fewer jobs at a better number. If the honest answer is that you need people before you need demand, we will tell you that and you can call us when the bench is built.

My season is brutal. I do not want a retainer through the shoulder months.

Neither would we, and asking for one is why most agencies get fired in this trade. Simple 28-day cycles. Most operators run spend heavy into the season and lean through the shoulder, and the account is built to move that way.

What does the 15 minutes actually cost me?

Nothing, and there is nothing to buy on the call. We open your account live, name the biggest leak, and the findings are yours to keep, no strings.

P.S. Whatever is leaking has been leaking all year, and it will keep leaking next month at the same rate. The only question is whether you find out what it is now or after another quarter of paying for it.
