Home services Google Ads agency · six trades, six different economies
The Home Services Google Ads Agency that never runs on averages
Your agency runs the same playbook it uses for a dentist. In 15 minutes we show you what a booked job actually costs you, by service.
- Where one budget is being averaged across jobs that are nothing alike
- Your cost per booked job by service, not your cost per lead
- A 90-day fix your team can start on Monday
Free. Fifteen minutes. Nothing to buy on the call.
The findings are yours to keep, no strings.

Six trades, six completely different machines
An agency that cannot say these out loud will run you on averages.
A blocked drain is a $300 callout until the camera goes down the line, and then it is a $12,000 reline. Roofing demand appears overnight after hail and vanishes between storms. HVAC runs hot in the first heatwave and the first freeze, which are the exact weeks you have no capacity left. Restoration is won or lost in the ninety seconds after the phone rings at 2am.
Those are four different businesses. They buy differently, they close differently, and they need completely different accounts. An agency running a blended cost per lead across them is averaging four economies into one number that describes none of them.
That average is comfortable to report and impossible to act on. It is also why your account keeps buying the cheap end of every trade you sell.
We do not run an average. We run your trade’s economics.
The Leak Finder
Fifteen minutes, free, and nothing to buy on the call. We open your Google Ads account with you watching, name the single biggest leak between your clicks and your booked jobs, and put a number on what it is costing you every month. What we find is yours either way.
We only run a handful of these a week, and not every account is worth one. Answer a few quick questions and if it is a fit, we will book you in.

What a generalist never finds
Four leaks, and averages hide all of them.
One budget, six different jobs
The generalist builds a campaign called "services" and lets everything share it. So a $180 tune-up and an $18,000 system replacement bid from the same pot.
The bidding then does exactly what it was built to do and hunts the cheapest conversion available. Splitting spend by job value is not a clever tactic. It is the first hour of work, and most accounts we open have never had it done.
Averages are where your money goes to die.
The first ten minutes
In a 2021 secret-shopper audit of 466 US home-services companies, 95% did not respond within five minutes and 40% never responded at all.
That is not an ads problem. Nobody fixes it with a better headline. And it gets worse in peak season, because your whole team is on jobs in exactly the weeks the leads land.
The quote that never gets chased
High-ticket home services do not close on the first visit. The window buyer collects three demos over two weeks. The foundation buyer collects three quotes over six weeks, because he is scared and slow.
If nothing structured happens after the visit, the job goes to whoever stayed in front of them longest. That is usually not the best price.
The job goes to whoever stayed in front of them longest.
Cost per lead is the wrong number
Blended Google Ads cost per lead for HVAC and plumbing contractors averaged $104 in January 2026 across 816 contractors and $14.9M in spend (SearchLight).
Take two companies both paying $104 a lead. One books 8% of them. The other books 24%. Same cost per lead. One is making money and the other is quietly going backwards.
Same cost per lead. One is making money, the other is going backwards.
Sixty seconds, no form
How many of these is your agency doing to you right now?
Tick anything you recognise from the last three months. Nobody sees this but you.
Two or more is not bad luck. It is a leak, and it has a number attached. The Leak Finder tells you which one is costing you the most, and what it adds up to over a year.
Bring the boxes you ticked. We will put a number on each one, live, while you watch.
What actually happens
One call, and the guesswork ends.
No deck, no discovery call, no three-stage process. We open the account and look.
- A few quick questionsTwo minutes, so we know your trade, your spend and your service area before we start. Contact details come last.
- We open your account, live, with you on the callNot a report we email later. You watch us go through it, and you can stop us and ask anything.
- We name the biggest leak and price itYour cost per booked job by service, not your cost per lead, and what it is costing you in quoted work every month.
- The findings are yours to keepNo strings, whether you hire us or not. Take them to your current agency if you like.
Why we do it free
Roughly one in five turns into a client. We would rather find out in fifteen minutes than after three months of your money, and so would you.
What it is not
No pitch deck. No proposal. No pricing conversation unless you ask for one.
If we cannot find at least one meaningful leak in your account, we will say so on the call and point you to a better next step.
Limited spots each week.

Why the last one did not work
One template versus your economics.
| What you have had before | What we do instead |
|---|---|
| A report full of impressions, clicks and "average position". | One number that matters: what a booked job costs you, by campaign. |
| One campaign called "services" doing everything. | Spend split by job value, so cheap work can never outbid your best work. |
| Leads emailed to you, then it is your problem. | Every lead called in minutes, day or night, by a cadence that runs without you. |
| Quotes go out and nobody hears anything again. | Structured follow-up for as long as the decision actually takes. |
| A 12-month contract and your ad account in their name. | Simple 28-day cycles. You own the ad account, the site and the data. |
| An account manager you have never met, rotating every quarter. | A senior strategist who has seen your trade, on the phone. |

The 3× Pipeline Promise
Within 90 days of going live, we’ll create at least 3× what you invest with Clique in new, tracked qualified quote requests from Google Ads.
If we don’t, our management invoices drop to $0 and we keep working until we hit it.
This is a service-level performance promise, not an income or revenue guarantee. It is measured on qualified quote requests created and logged, not on closed revenue or anything that happens on your side of the sale. “What you invest with Clique” means what you pay us in Build and Management fees, not your ad spend. The 90-day window starts on your System Launch Date, when the system is live, tracking and call recording are verified and the agreed minimum ad spend is in place. It applies to Core and Boardroom engagements. Read the full promise.
Who we let in the clique
We run your trade's economics, not the average of six.
I This is a fit if you…
- Run an established company in plumbing, roofing, HVAC, restoration, foundation or windows.
- Have someone running quotes and closing jobs, and want their calendar full.
- Can absorb more booked work in the next 90 days.
- Will put tracking in, so cost per booked job is knowable.
II This is NOT a fit if you…
- Want the cheapest leads instead of the most profitable jobs.
- Switch ads off every slow season and expect the pipeline to be there in spring.
- Have nobody reliably answering the phone, and are not ready to fix that.
- Want a guarantee of revenue. We do not sell one.
Before you book
Before you book, the honest answers.
I already buy leads from the platforms. Why would I pay you as well?
Because a shared lead is sold to three or four of you at once. You are not buying a job, you are buying the right to race for it, which is why they price-shop and why your close rate is what it is. What we build is demand you own: your account, your number, your brand, and nobody else being sent the same homeowner. Keep the platforms alongside it if you like, but you will see the difference in cost per booked job inside a season.
Every agency says they specialise. Why should I believe you?
Ask us the questions only someone in your trade would know to ask. What a supplement is worth on a storm job, why a tune-up campaign starves a changeout budget, why a reline is sold off a camera and not off a search. If we cannot hold that conversation in the first five minutes, do not hire us.
I got burned. Clicks and reach, no booked jobs.
The reporting here is cost per booked job by service, and a senior strategist who stays on the account.
My real constraint is labour, not leads.
Then volume is the wrong purchase and we will say so. When crews are the bottleneck the job is mix and ticket, not quantity. We would rather you did the same number of jobs at a better number than drown a team you cannot hire for.
What does the 15 minutes actually cost me?
Nothing, and nothing to buy on the call. What we find is yours either way.
The 15-minute Leak Finder
Fifteen minutes, and you will know where the money is going.
- A short form, then 15 minutes with a senior strategist
- We open your Google Ads account and go through it live
- We name the single biggest leak in your pipeline
- We put a dollar figure on what it is costing you in lost quoted job value
- You leave with a 90-day fix your team can start on tomorrow
No obligation, no follow-up sequence, no salesperson calling you next Tuesday.
If you want an account run on your trade's real economics, run the Leak Finder.
If you want a generalist to keep averaging you, we are not your fit.
P.S. Whatever is leaking has been leaking all year, and it will keep leaking next month at the same rate. The only question is whether you find out what it is now or after another quarter of paying for it.
